How to Donate
The Next Chapter
The Foundation’s "Next Chapter" campaign is off to a strong start, thanks to generous support from residents, library patrons, and several civic organizations. Our goal is to raise $750,000 to fund furniture, fixtures, and equipment needed to welcome the community into the newly renovated library when it reopens in June 2026.
While we especially encourage significant contributions to help reach our goal, donations of all sizes are vital and warmly welcomed. To honor your generosity, all donations of $250 or more will be acknowledged:
- Donations of $1,000 or more will be prominently featured on the Donor Wall.
- Donations between $250 and $999 will be recognized within the library.
By donating, you become part of a lasting legacy that enriches our community.

- Online: Use debit or credit card (note: SMLF pays a service charge of 2.3%+ $0.39/transaction)
- IRA Distribution: Direct transfer to Sierra Madre Library Foundation
